Lights, Camera, Appreciation!
August was all about celebrating you — our incredible team — and what a month it was! From start to finish, Lights, Camera, Appreciation Month was a chance to shine the spotlight on the amazing service providers and front desk staff who make our spa so special.
We can’t gush enough about how grateful we are for each and every one of you. Your hard work, your positive energy, and the way you care for our guests (and for each other!) truly sets this team apart. Whether you’re behind the scenes keeping things running smoothly, or front and center providing an exceptional experience for our clients, you are the heart of what makes this place feel so special.
Thank you for showing up, shining bright, and making every day worthy of a red carpet moment. We are so lucky to have such a talented, dedicated, and genuinely kind group of people on this team!

We’ve had lots of new faces join the team recently, and what better way to break the ice than with a little fun? This month, we’ve put together a “Getting to Know You” questionnaire that you’ll find in the breakroom.

Star Awards Winners!

This person lives for a little flair—maybe they’re expressive, over-the-top funny, or just have a big personality that brings fun to the team.
Office Comedian: Adam
Consistently brings the laughs—whether it’s stories, impressions, or just always having the perfect gif in GroupMe. The spa wouldn’t be as fun without them.
Set Design Star: Carolyn
This award is for the behind-the-scenes perfectionist—organizing the breakroom, refreshing displays, keeping the front desk polished. Their attention to aesthetics doesn’t go unnoticed.
Production Powerhouse: Jacque
Always on the move, always getting things done. They juggle tasks, knock out their to-dos, and are the person you know you can rely on when stuff needs to happen.
Tech Genius: Adam
They know how to restart the router, fix the iPad, or solve that one weird problem in MindBody no one else can. Bless this person.
We are so proud of the amazing team we have — each of you brings something unique and special to the table. The Star Awards are just one way to celebrate the behind-the-scenes magic that makes our spa such a wonderful place to work and visit.

Team Shoutouts!
This month, we’re spreading the love with shoutout cards in the break room! Take a moment to write a quick note recognizing your teammates for something awesome they’ve done. We’ll post the cards on the board so everyone can see and celebrate each other.
At the end of the month, we’ll randomly select two shoutouts, and the team members who wrote them will each win a $25 gift card.

Room Readiness = Team Success!
One of the best ways we can support each other is by making sure every treatment room is set up and ready to go. A few quick reminders to keep things running smoothly:
- If you borrow something from another room (like a fan or noise machine), please return it at the end of your shift so that room is ready for the next person.
- Each cabinet should have a working sanitizer bottle. If one’s missing or broken, jot it on the whiteboard or let a manager know so we can replace it. In the meantime, grab sanitizer wipes (kitchen sink or laundry storage).
- The couple’s room = double supplies so both sides stay self-sufficient.
- Each room should have 8 cups total (2 of each size, 4 different sizes). If you need more, grab extras from the breakroom — not from another room. At the end of your shift, return any extras back to the breakroom. If you leave cups to dry, please also return them to their room before you leave so we’re not left guessing where they belong.
- Refill CBD, sanitizer spray, aroma scents, and salt stone disinfectant bottles once they hit the halfway mark.
Thanks for helping keep our rooms guest-ready and stress-free for each other! A little teamwork goes a long way.

We’re so excited to welcome Erin as the newest member of our Wellness Membership Advisor team! Erin brings great energy, a passion for helping others, and is eager to jump in and start supporting our guests and team.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Naiarah to our Front Desk team! Fun fact—she’s Noelyz’s cousin, so we’re keeping it in the family. Naiarah is ready to bring her own enthusiasm and support to the spa.

Safety Training Reminder!
We officially missed our August 31st deadline for safety training. Big shoutout and thank you to those who took the time to get it done on time — you’re helping keep our spa safe and compliant.
For the rest of the team, this is your nudge: safety training isn’t optional. To stay compliant, you must complete:
- Online University safety videos
- Sign off on the State of Illinois Sexual Harassment Prevention Training in PayChex
The new final deadline is September 15th. Please get it done — no more extensions after this!
Let’s all do our part so we’re not chasing this down again next month.

Summer of Skincare Success!
We are absolutely shining in the skincare world! As of August 14th, our studio ranked #7 in skincare services and #10 in retail sales out of all Elements Massage studios nationwide!
This accomplishment is the result of every single one of us working together to build up our skincare services. From our estheticians delivering incredible treatments, to our WMAs introducing guests to skincare options, to our massage therapists planting the seed and mentioning skincare during sessions — it all makes a difference.
Let’s keep the momentum going! Every conversation is an opportunity to share what we offer and invite guests to experience the benefits of skincare. Together, we’re showing that Geneva is a leader in this exciting new service!

We’re officially launching peels—and we couldn’t be more excited! It’s just $20 to upgrade to a peel, and you will receive a sample-size aftercare kit to keep your skin glowing.
We’d love for the whole team to experience it firsthand, so make sure to schedule a peel for yourself and see what all the buzz is about. The best way to share the benefits with our guests is to try it out and fall in love with the results!

A huge shout out to our incredible WMAs for finishing August strong with a 24.67% conversion rate! Amazing work!
Big congratulations to Jacque, who led the team with 21 membership sales (50% conversion), and runners-up Adam (4 sales, 11.11%) and Faith (2 sales, 13.33%). You guys crushed it!

- The staff is WONDERFUL! Tess was absolutely AMAZING!! Truly the BEST MASSAGE I’VE EVER HAD!!
- Adrian is one of the best deep tissue therapists I’ve ever gone to over the past 20 years. I’m a nurse and have never sustained a work injury despite all the lifting, bending and sitting (charting) I do.

Chair Event Recap
On August 22nd we had the pleasure of participating in the
GRAND OPENING
of
LadyStrong Fitness in Geneva
Jennifer and Jonathan did a great job representing Elements as they provided chair massage and skincare. They each performed quite a few services and we even sold several Mini Peel Packs.
Overall it was a great community event to get our name out there while at the same time enjoying some great MUSIC, FOOD AND FUN!!
