A message from Chris
People often ask me how long I've been doing massage, and the reaction to my response is often amazement. The first time someone asked this question, after a session, my response was "4 days".
Thankfully, he was surprised that it was that early in my career... that was several months ago.
Honestly, it is the best career change I've ever made. Making a decision to start school for massage therapy has transformed my life. I can say with certainty, that I've "come home", and I love what I do. I've given amateur massages for decades to family members and, back in the day, school classmates, and I got pretty decent at it. So, it wasn't a huge surprise to my extended family when I decided to bite the bullet and go to school for massage.
I love that I have the privilege of working with people one on one, with the intent of making each person feel better through our sessions together. It truly is a privilege to be entrusted to work on individuals when they're at their most vulnerable. The noticeable physical difference in someone, after a massage session, continues to manifest throughout their day with positive emotions and attitudes. Even in a shorter time, a 1-Hour massage session, brings relief.
I can't say enough that I've found my calling. The phrase "better late than never" really does apply in my case. I look forward to many years to hone my craft and make a difference, one client at a time.
